Everything in Clingy happens from the 🧲 icon in your menu bar.
Click 🧲 → Magnet Market to browse every magnet, then click one to stick it on your desktop. Drag magnets around, double-click a note to write on it, and right-click anything for its options.
They are still there, behind Clingy's layer. Click 🧲 → Hide Magnets to see them, and Show Magnets to bring the board back.
Choose 🧲 → Make Magnets from Images and pick a picture. Clingy lifts the subject and adds it to Your Magnets in the Market. You can also choose a watch folder; pictures dropped there become magnets automatically.
For a polaroid, choose 🧲 → Polaroid from Photo.
Right-click any word tile and choose Remove Unused Word Tiles. It removes only the ones you never moved, so the sentence you arranged stays. The same works for letters, and 🧲 → Remove has the full list with counts.
Click one to select it, then Shift-click or ⌘-click to add more. Press Delete to remove them all, or Esc to deselect.
🧲 → Arrange has Straighten All and Tidy Up. Snap to Grid is on by default so magnets line up as you drop them.
Add them from 🧲 → New…, under “Keeps itself up to date”. The clock and calendar follow your Mac. Click a to-do line or a habit circle to tick it. Click the tomato to start and stop the timer. Right-click the countdown to set its date.
🧲 → Share My Fridge makes a picture, or a three second video where everything wobbles and falls. Copy it, save it, or send it straight on.
It draws a single transparent layer above the desktop wallpaper and does nothing while you are not touching it. There is no background syncing; the only network call it ever makes is the Clingy Pro purchase check.
Quit from 🧲 → Quit Clingy and move the app to the Trash. macOS may keep your saved board data in Clingy's app container.
Write to hello.scannerstudio@gmail.com and say which macOS version you are on and what happened. Screenshots help.
