Your board and photos stay on your Mac. Clingy has no account, analytics or tracking. Purchase checks use RevenueCat and the App Store.
Your board, magnets and photos stay on your Mac and are never uploaded. Clingy opens exactly one kind of network connection: the purchase check for Clingy Pro, described below.
Clingy keeps its data inside its own sandbox container on your Mac:
Clingy does not write outside its own container unless you explicitly save a file somewhere. macOS may keep the container and your saved board after you delete the app.
Clingy runs in Apple's App Sandbox and can only reach files you choose yourself:
Clingy does not read your documents, your photo library, your contacts, your calendar, your location, or anything else.
“Share My Fridge” creates a picture or a short video on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded. If you then share it, macOS does that through its own share sheet, and whatever service you pick applies its own privacy terms.
Clingy Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple. Clingy uses RevenueCat to check whether that purchase belongs to you, so it also works after you reinstall the app or move to another Mac.
RevenueCat acts as a data processor for Clingy. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
None. No analytics framework, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Clingy does not track you across apps or websites, and nothing it sends is shared with data brokers.
Clingy is suitable for all ages. It does not ask for a name or email address, show ads or track users. The purchase-check data described above may be processed when the app opens.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. Since Clingy has no way to contact you, checking this page is the only way to see updates.
